8 Core Things You Need to Set Up for Starting Dropshipping Business

You will need a store for dropshipping business, for me the best e-commerce platform for this dropshipping business is Shopify, you may read this post about why I choose Shopify for my dropshipping business.

Shopify.

Shopify is an cloud based e-commerce platform with so many features and apps from many developers, this platform is easy to use for someone who more into business instead technical knowledge about website, it has 24 hours support, you can contact the support through chat or phone, and they are very helpful in solving your issues. Using Shopify you do not need to handle your own server, you do not need to worry to be hacked or slow speed server, all those technical issue are handled by Shopify. Imagine when you plan to open a business, you just rent a space with all electricity, water, payment system, and many more. What you need is just to choose template and make your business looks beautiful, then invite your visitor to come to your store and buy your products.

Facebook Page and Facebook Business Account.

You need Facebook page to advertise your business in Facebook, so you need to create one, and you also need to create Facebook Business Account that connect to you page.

Dropified.

Dropified is a online tool for importing products and process your orders when you get orders from your customer, this tool is very important when you have lots of order like 30-100 orders per day, it has great feature of “one-click auto processing order with captcha solver”, this tool is based on subscription, so you need to pay $39/month for the starter plan with 14 days trial availability.

Oberlo.

Oberlo has similar features like Dropified, I use this tool once for the free version, but the move to Dropified, because it has no “one-click auto ordering process with captcha solver” at that time,Ii have no idea if they are improving or not, you may check by yourself, you can try install it and using it first since it is free for the first 500 orders if i am not mistaken.

Aliexpress.

This is where you will source your products, both Oberlo and Dropified has chrome extension that can be used to import the products directly to your Shopify store. You need to sign up to Aliexpress and setting up Alipay as your payment method.

Paypal.

You need sign up to Paypal in order to receive the payment for your customer,

Stripe.

Since my country is not available for Stripe, so I need to incorporate a new company or setting up a company where Stripe is available.

Riskified.

Riskified is a tool for fraud chargeback protection, it works like an insurance company, it will charge you around 1% for every transaction at your online store, the benefit is that this tool has order verification system that will verify your sales and determines the possibility of the fraud on those sales. When you have fraud chargeback on one of your Riskified’s approved transaction, you can submit that issue to them, and they will reimbursed the money 100%
